KTX Tickets In Korea?

Does anybody know how much KTX tickets cost going from DongDaegu to Suwon?



I'm trying to go watch the Championship game of the Peace Queen Cup.

2. I will provide you with information to help you obtain KTX Train Tickets from Taegu to Suwon.
   
   
   
   The main KTX Train Station for Taegu is named Dong-Taegu.
   
   
   
   This KTX "Bullet Train" averages 1 hour, 40 minutes from Dong-Taegu to Seoul, with only 2 stops (average 90 seconds each). (I don't know the time to Suwon.)
   
   
   
   Note-the KTX train can sometimes average 10 minutes late arriving at Seoul Station.
   
   
   
   Please note the fares I quote below are from Dong-Taegu to Seoul Station; Suwon should be cheaper.
   
   
   
   Regular fare averages
   
   (weekdays-Mon thru Thur) W38,400 and
   
   (weekend-Fri thru Sun) W41,100.

   If you are associated with the U.S. military, the KTX Train Ticket Office is located at Camp Henry, across the street from the Army Community Services (ACS) Building. Their telephone number is 768-7143/6718. Dialing from off-post, just dial 0505, then 768- 7143/6718.
   
   
   
   When calling, try to speak with the Ajuma (lady) working there; she is somewhat "more friendly" (and patient with your questions) than the man who also works there.
   
   
   
   You can also telephone them for the various KTX Train times throughout the day, any day of the week.
   
   
   
   They are closed between 1300 and 1400 for their lunchtime; they are not open on weekends.
   
   
   
   You can also go directly to Dong-Taegu Train Station to purchase your KTX Tickets. If you are not associated with the U.S. military and by chance get lucky, the person will sell you the KTX ticket at the U.S. military discount rate.
   
   
   
   Buses may be somewhat cheaper (I have no knowledge), but they can also average 4 hours from Taegu to Seoul Express Bus Terminal.
