KTX

How have your experiences been with KTX?

I've always been happy with it. It's fast and convenient. I don't think I could take going to Seoul from Busan by bus.

1. I've used both. I preferred the KTX over the bus mainly due to speed and comfort. However in terms of cost, a KTX ticket is 50,000 won vs 10,000 Won to take the bone shaker.
2. It's definitely fast and comfortable for one. You feel like you're riding on air and after a short nap, you find yourself already at your destination. However, there has been a lot of complaints about KTX's customer service. For one, in the case that you lose your ticket, you have to repurchase the same ticket - even if you used a credit card and have a record. If you miss your intended train schedule, there is absolutely no refund. At times too, the KTX can be more than an hour late due to unexpected circumstances.
3. I've taken the KTX from Seoul to Busan before. It's nice. Takes about 2 hours 45 minutes. Like an airplane ride: smooth and they sell stuff too.
